I was beyond sickened to watch that video of the piece of c r u p "Judge" beating his 16 year old cerebral palsy daughter, and then to hear that this so called "Man" thinks that he did nothing wrong!

I was just as sickened to be on another forum and learn that there are actually people who support this person.

UNBELIEVABLE!

I grew up in a home where there was zero physical punishement. My Parents had no trouble having our respect, nor did they have any trouble setting rules and guidelines, so that we knew, without it having to be demonstrated with a good smacking around, what was expected of us and that there were consequences for bad behavior.

I guess that they must have thought, if they treated us with respect, even though we were just kids, and made it clear they assumed and expected that we would behave well, more often than not, we'd live up to those expectations.

I guess they wanted us to love and respect them, but, didn't need the ego boost of having us fear them. I can imagine fearing the bully that belt whipped you; but respect him??? What would there be to respect in a Parent that can only get their child's attention with a beating?

Nothing that I can think of. That parent is teaching that violence and physical abuse are OK, that's all they're teaching. Pretty scary lesson, if you ask me!!!
