It sounds like you are also concerned that the performing company is playing in an unaccessible venue.

@I am still oxox I don't blame you. Definitely make your feelings known to both the venue and the performing company. And any other place on social media where you can express your concerns.

@foxywoods They need to have it ADA complaint, that is the facts. It not just for me it is for every other handicapped person who would want to patronize the venue. It is also illegal to not have access. Why should I be excluded?

Well if the ground is uneven and the paths are gravel, I hope they have liabilitty insurance because it's not just those using a walker who could have difficulty. It could be very easy for an able bodied person to be distracted talking to someone and trip on the uneven ground or gravel and/or twist an ankle.

In answer to your question, I'd just drop it. I'm not one to get extremely upset about things, so I'd simply not be attending. What tends to anger me more, is people who don't do their job. For example, cashiers chatting back and forth while customers are lining up.

We got the ADA because people who were denied access didn't "just drop it" and accept the idea that they should just stay home.
While I agree it is annoying to stand in line while not being served fast enough, at least you are participating in the activity and not being denied that opportunity.

First, I'm a big believer in giving all not for profit theater groups some slack. To me they are a vital part of the art world and work with very limited budgets and rely considerable on donations.
I also think as we age, there are times when we need to face our own limitations and come to the realization that not all things are possible at all times. Or we become creative in our solutions.
This appears to be a park like setting. As with any park, once you venture off the paved paths there are challenges for those with mobility issues.
It appears the Lyndhurst facility and parking are ADA compliant. The difficulty seems to be getting from the pathway across the grass to the Greenhouse. Difficult, not impossible, but they make you aware of the potential risk.
If I had such a burning desire to see yet another production of this play, and felt I couldn't safely make it across the grass with a walker to enter the greenhouse, I would consider renting a wheelchair for the day. But that's me.
I don't know what solution a theater company renting short term a venue could do.
Sure you could remain angry and file a complaint against a not for profit theater group, or you could remain calm and continue discussions, acknowledging the situation you both face with the venue. Then telling them you would like to try and continue work on finding a solution.
