A update on libby's condition..

Dear friends.. I just had a chance to go over the posts sent to Libby .. And I am very much humbled and I thank you all so much.. And thank you D2 and scoots for starting that prayer vigil for our beloved Libby. Here is where we are now. Libby woke up late last night regonized everyone and asked about Schmoo and Sammycat and her dogs and toys. She did not suffer a stroke as first thought... She is healthy enough to with stand her heart operation. The brain scan showed a mild seizure in the middle of the night . Her valve is not as bad as first thought either.. She does have two very clogged arteries which is not rare in a child with heart ailments like Libby's .. She was transferred to "Deborah" childrens hospitial two and a half hours from our home in North Jersey . We have a wonderful team of caring doctors who are very hopeful for Libby now.. and the nurses are angels . I am glad Libby is here in the hospitial I know she will get the best care . My husband and I took a leave from our jobs.. Libby is now in a medicated induced coma until the operation on Monday and still in ICU.. I read her your posts and the good news about Schmoo .. And she sends all of you her love for taking the time to pray for her. Only my husband and I are allowed to visit her for 10 mintues every few hours.. And we have to be gowned and gloved .. We are staying in a hotel a few miles away .. And Tanya is home with our dogs and is going to school as usual. We felt we wanted to keep things as normal as possible for her. And I brought with me my trusty computer to e-mail back in forth to family and friends Libby condition. We are faced with open heart surgery now .. But, libby's vitals are normal and we are terrified but, know we are doing the best thing for her quality of life. But, the doctors did prepare us..it is a operation .. as we know. I did not feel hopeful until I read your posts .. It is easier for me to type rather then speak about Libby now .. crying is like breathing to us now... We consider all of you like a extended family now. I am sorry if I made mistakes in my post the spellcheck does not seem to be working and I have been up for twenty hours now... Doctors told us to get some sleep and come back later this afternoon...God bless all of y ou. And I will update soon. Anna
