Good morning ladies... I came home to walk the dogs and a change of clothing ... And I have read all your posts. God bless all of you for sharing and caring... Libby is much improved. She woke up late last night and she has been up all morning.. She even watched a little television with her daddy this morning... She had a restful night and a normal sleep moving around a bit her temperature is still quite high... but ...nothing as dangerous as what it was at 105... Her temperature stayed at 101 and went up a little again last night .. She is still very weak unable to walk herself yet ...and is in a wheelchair or in a regular chair with pillows around her .. This morning they are taking the feeding tubes out... But, the IV for fluids is still connected to her...She asked why she was in the hospital .. She does not remember what happened last night...I explained everything to her and so did her doctor this morning.Her heart is fine but, will be doing more testing this afternoon... She is asking about all of you.. And she is asking for Schmoo... I am bringing the computer with me when I go back so I can read everyone's post. Her b-day is October 14 and her sister's is on the 16.. and she has been talking about her b-day party all morning.. Which is a good sign to me .. She is also going to have a real breakfast and some orange juice. Her temperature has to be normal for 24 hours before she can come home..But, of course she is anxious already to leave, to see her dogs and go back to school.. School is out of the question for awhile ...the doctor has said. Your prayers have lifted me and my family to a comforting place.... How can I begin to thank you all...There are no words how important all of you are..to our family....I am going back to the hospital now .. And I will update again...Bless you all from the bottom of our hearts.
