David Lynch passed away. He was a once-in-a-lifetime boldly creative Genius who gave us the most unique thought-provoking and soul-stirring visuals in film.
🎥 Can we ever forget Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet? RIP David.

@CaliGold67 I'm not familiar with him whatsoever. I went to wiki and viewed the list of all of his work and there wasn't a single movie/show he did that I even watched.

@Susan Louise You missed out on some stunning and provocative content. It's never too late - the Twin Peaks 1991 tv series is available on Amazon video. I highly recommend it. Don't start with Eraserhead or Blue Velvet - Lynch is an acquired taste but like all fun habits he's provided enormous stimulation. If that's what you're after.

I don't think I watched many episodes of Twin Peaks but I was obsessed with the music soundtracks. I've never heard of blue velvet.

@CaliGold67 When I went through the list, none of them peaked my interest...not my taste in subject/material/genre.

HUGE Twin Peaks fan! Very controversial at the time. If I remember correctly, it was aired on FX, which was ahead of it's time and new at the time. I'll never forget the music and opening scene, "she's dead, she's wrapped in plastic". The cherry pie, the blinds being opened back and forth, the girl getting hit with a sock full of soap, the girl with the cherry in her month, the dancing drwarfs, log man! Too many to name. There was no "streaming" back then, so the anticipation of waiting for it every week (with commercials) and then, trying to make some sense of it! I came to the conclusion toward the last few episodes, that there was no script, they were making it up as they went and we were never meant to understand it!!!
