@shoekitty I know you LOVE that! I sure would! I know crows love shiny objects, and it seems that's what he's bringing you... shiny objects he likes and collects to give to you! Boy it would be fun seeing what's in their nests if they are collectors lol.

Bok Bok... I can't with that story. Of course he learned from the chickens and uses it as his sweet voice... like my little dog uses when he's "talking" to me or being plain goofy. These sweet creatures have so many varying sounds they make, and he reserves the Bok Bok for you!

I really loved this story. Thanks so much for sharing.

@OneHappyHiker I might add we have 4-5 crows that come everyday. He is the only one who uses this BOK BOK. chicken sound

@OneHappyHiker. I took this screen shot from a video and what you see if all I know about it. I guess maybe the hangers were dropped outside a garment manufacturing facility since they're so uniform. Could be from a dumpster in the NYC garment district.

I'm wondering if the bird could be a Raven as he was quite large. Unless they're side by side, I can't tell them apart.

@Kachina624 You make all good points. Fascinating story though. The more we observe birds and of course other animals, it's no wonder they are able to survive so many things. They are so adaptive. Their survival instinct is so strong. Rural v city v suburban animals... they all have different modes of survival, yet they learn what they must do TO survive and thrive.
