This is something I often think about.  I'm grateful for so, so many things, many of which were already mentioned.  Adding to that I'd say that I'm grateful that I have a roof over my head, that I don't have to wonder where my next meal is coming from, that I've never experienced real poverty or fear or discrimination.

I'm grateful that I can go to bed at night feeling relatively safe (with regards to my neighborhood).  I'm grateful that I've never known what it's like to suffer from rape or domestic violence or to ever have been verbally, physically, mentally or emotionally abused.

I'm grateful for any good fortune that comes my way -- and I do my very best to pay it forward.

@gloriajean , so nice to see you here! Such a nice post. I think I'm grateful each day for the same things, however, throughout the day there's usually a special little surprise where I have to look up and give thanks to my God.

Can you name 3 things a day that you are thankful for ?

I know there are many more things to be grateful for, but just name 3?

I'll go first:  I'm grateful for my family, my friends, my Church, and my little townhouse.

You?

Hi @gloriajean ... Nice to see you again! LoveMyHandbags here! Thank you for this nice positive thread. 😊

The 3 things I'm grateful for are:

1. ...that l wake up each day

2. ...that l have enough money to pay all my bills

3. ...that l have food to eat each day

Hope you are feeling better now and your husband and family are well. How are your twin grandchildren? I bet they're growing up! Take care gloriajean. 💗

1.)  I'M ALIVE

2.) I have health care and meds

3.) I have a car I can depend on ... here is what I mean ... when I pass

people broken down on the road ... I always think .. do they have the

money to fix the car ....did they know and worry that the car was not

dependable ....do they have to pay for towing and in pound .... I consider

that a blessing ....

Thank you all for your nice, positive posts.  We all have so much to be thankful for, it's just great to word it, right?

Of course, you can add more than 3.

I will add daughters that take me shopping,

I am so grateful to live in the same town as they do.

I am grateful for all of you who responded, thank you!

Re: A Positive Thread

[ Edited ]

1. That I'm retired

2. General good health of the family

3.  Holidays and fall are on the calendar.

It's always good to think about what we can be grateful for.
