I ran some errands, came home and got comfy clothes on.

I was sitting in my recliner which has a window behind it. The window was open a few inches, it is cool, breezy, blue sky with clouds like pillows.

I tipped the chair back, could look out the window and just saw the Japenese maple shrub type thing, it has verigiated green and white leaves and the sky.  Petunia was on the windowsill, she mosied down over my shoulder and settled in my lap.

I just watched the branches swaying and the cloulds float by while scratching her head. We both fell asleep for about an hour.

A great way to spend an hour.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 You painted a lovely picture, especially with a kitty cat in your lap!  Heart

And people wonder how we retirees "structure" our day.  Ha!

DD called from work and woke us up.  When I told her about our litttle snooze she laughed.

This morning Petunia was on her hip when she woke up. She said the minute she reached to pet her Petunia wrapped both paws around her forearm and proceeded to chew on her wrist.

P doesn't do that to me.  DD is viewed as her favorite human chew toy.
