This actually happened near my home two nights ago.

Four guys are roommates sharing a house, it's 2 am and they're drinking.

Roommate #1 sees a mouse in his room, gets out his pistol and shoots at it. The bullet goes through the wall and hits roommate #2 in the chest while he's in the bathroom taking care of business. Roommate #3 calls 911.

When the police arrive they search the house and find a 13 year old girl hiding in the basement in a sleeping bag in the scarry part of the basement where the spiders hang out. She had snuck out of her house and her father didn't know she was missing. Apparently she had been having "an affair" with roommate #4 and he hid her because she was underage.

So, roommate #1 is in jail for shooting roomate #2.

Roommate #2 is in the hospital in critical condition.

Roommate #4 is in jail for many se$ual charges and contributing to the delinquency of the minor.

The minor girl is being held in a juvenile facility.

Roommate #3 has to go to the jail and retrieve car keys from the other 2 because their cars are blocking his car in the driveway.

The mouse survived and is probably in the witness protection program.
