I know several posters were recently asking about Ford. I have been in touch with her and she has given me permission to post the following information:

Ford did fine during the storm and is in an area that was hit about the same as Philly. A daughter, however, lives on LBI and has been unable get back there. The bridge to LBI needs to be inspected to determine if it is safe. Daughter could be kept out of her home for days, weeks or even months although she did hear that her building flooded on the first floor but seems intact. Potential underground gas leaks are a concern too.

Bottom line is that while Ford's one daughter is having significant problems they are safe and Ford herself did well.
