Since Friday night,

I found out a friend in town had a colonoscopy and had to have surgery a cancerous polyp too large to remove during colonoscopy.  A lymph node came back positive so she has to do chemo.

I learned one of the legal secretaries from another office I worked a lot with died.  She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Her husband died late last year.  She was 54 and the best person ever.

My sister's 15 yr. granddaughter has Covid.

My sister was taken by ambulance yesterday.  She got very confused, told the ambulance crew she was 26.  She's 68.

It was toxins built up in her brain from her liver disease.  Meds given cleared it up but her kidney function is down and she needs another transfusion (her 7th or 8th) due to blood count having gone down.

She just got out of the hospital 2 weeks ago.  Was in 6 days for congestive heart failure.  They took 20lbs. of fluid off her.

Oh, trying to get someone to come pump septic tank (assume it is the issue).

And, it would be my late DH's 77th birthday,

Happy flippen weekend.  Hope you all are having more fun than I am.  lol  I want a shot and a beer,  and man do I want a cigarette.

I am so very sorry you are having to go through all this at once.  Have the drink and know that this situation will not

last forever...after my DH passed I tried to take it one hour at a time.  I felt that I could endure and cope with anything for one hour, and I relied heavily on my faith.

Re: A Lousy, Terrible Weekend.

Thanks to all of you.  All I can say is that it is a good thing I am a tough old bird.

My niece just called, she made a bee line to her Mom's from Pittsburgh and has to go home today. She is a nurse and her Mom has her pulling her hair out. She refuses to have help come in (her DH is a physical wreck too). Refuses to use the oxygen at home (says it doesn't work). etc  It's is her way or the highway.

Other daughter is in quarrantine due to her Covid kid.

I said I will go down and sis told me she doesn't need help.  Right.

Bang head here.

Oh, how sad for you and all concerned.  Sometimes it just helps to vent even though can't do much about it.

I think the septic tank pumping is a bit of a metaphor for it all!

Take care.
