The scenario: You got up early in the morning and had a modest breakfast. It is now 4 in the afternoon and you have not had an opportunity to eat all day. You are tired, hungry, thirsty, need recharging and it will be at least another three or four hours until you can get home and have dinner. You only have $3 dollars available to you so you decide to stop at a fast food place and grab something to eat and drink.
As you park you notice an individual "dumpster diving". The individual's appearance is such that you believe you are watching a homeless person. From just watching for a brief period of time you conclude that dumpster diving is the primary source of food for this individual.
Remembering that you are hungry and thirsty, only have $3 and it will be three to four hours before you can get to the food you have at home what do you do? Would the age/gender of the individual influence your reaction?
