A Feel-Good True Story

We were staying at a hotel Wednesday night and was leaving Thanksgiving Day. When we got on the elevator, a man (in his early 20's) got on too. We started talking and he said that he had just got back from Iraq. And that he was home for good. I thanked him for his service and ask where he lived. He was on his way to Springfield to surprise his parents.

He had told them that he would call on SKYPE at a certain time from Iraq. He was so excited because he was going to knock on their door at the time he was suppose to call. It brought tears to him, my Hubby and me. It was such a touching moment. These are the times that makes life so wonderful.
