A Big Hand for Bose Customer Service

I have a couple of Bose units - not sure if they came from QVC, but maybe several years ago.

Recently had a problem with the multi disc changer - it wouldn't eject a disc. Phoned Bose, they waked me through several steps to correct the problem, which didn't work. They sent me a return label to get it to them for repairs.

They repaired the unit and it was back to me in less than a week from the time I sent it in. The price for repairs was quite reasonable, and the unit works beautifully now.

Very pleased with their service and with those I spoke with on the phone. My Bose units have worked beautifully for years, but sometimes something goes wrong.

Just in case you have a problem, give them a chance. I think you'll be pleased.

Re: A Big Hand for Bose Customer Service

As one that has bought electronics going back into the 1950's, Bose has never been a company that made any products that fit into my price range and/or "bang for the buck". I am glad to hear that they have great customer service and that you are happy with that and apparently their products.

I as audio/videophile I prefer matching my ears and eyes to a product and do not pick out any specific brand when doing my testing before any and all purchases. Audio, for the most part and most people, is a subjective thing as everyone does not hear things exactly the same. Even when I was/am financially able to purchase my electronic devices sans the cost, Bose has never had a product that sounded the best to my then young ears nor the present my old ears.

Just got off the phone with an electronics company that I am not happy with and after this transaction will make sure this is the one and only time I do business with them. They are in Canada, and me as a big hockey fan? Was very clear to them how I felt about their company and their service and left no doubt in their minds about where I would go with this knowledge. I also mentioned that they should send one of their reps to visit Amazon to see how and what it is to have great Customer Service.

That's nice to know. I have the basic Bose clock radio/CD player and it's worked great for over 10 years. It's nice to know that they really stand behind their products.

Bose is one of those good companies that makes good products. Having such outstanding customer service is an important component of that, for me. For that reason, I will always purchase products from these companies even though sometimes they cost more. It's worth it!

Dyson is another outstanding company and I own several of their products as well.
