Re: 600 POUND LIFE JAMES' STORY

I wonder if his legs will ever heal.  How could he not be on antibiotics, or some form of threatment for that?

Re: 600 POUND LIFE JAMES' STORY

I thought he was a controlling, big baby.  Hollering every time they touched him.  I'm sure it did hurt, but where is his taking responsibility for getting himself like that in the first place.  Felt sorry for his daughter who they pulled out of school to help.  He cared for no one else but himself.......so selfish!

I just don't have any sympathy for this guy! I know that his eating is an addiction, but he's just doesn't do anything to help himself. It's like any other addictive thing, if he wanted to change, he would. He's been offered the best, but just goes back to his old ways.

Re: 600 POUND LIFE JAMES' STORY

Let me start by saying I am not skinny and have fought very hard most of my life to keep my weight reasonable.  I am usually sympathetic to most of the people, but not so much for James.  I could not believe it when he told Dr. N "well I asked for a nutritionist and you never got me one", like it is everyone elses fault he gained 100 pounds.  I guess no one in their community felt sorry for him either as their Go Fund Me only raised $300.00.  He is a very selfish person and I hope Dr. N does not waste anymore time on him, he does not deserve it!  There are plenty of people that will do the work and appreciate it.  What a shame.

I also watch this TV show.

I had Bariatric surgery last June, the Dr. Group I went to required many tests including a comeplete heart health workup, shrink evaluation, chest x-ray,sleep study, blood work, and counseling with a dietician.  Lots of bloodwork following to make your Vitamin and Mineral levels are up, They have been very thorough in guiding me in the right direction.

But like we saw in these shows, these people have to want it more than the Food.

The success stories are very hopeful.

@spud188 congratulations and I wish you the very best in your weight loss journey and it sounds like you are in a very good program which is great.  Much success to you!

Re: 600 POUND LIFE JAMES' STORY

I watched this episode with my head down while he was stuffing his face. I felt so bad for his dad and daughter not his gf. I do hope he looses enough weight to get the surgery before eating like he does kills him.

If he's still alive I'd say he doesn't have much longer to live.

I hope they do a follow-up soon.  We could look him up and find out his status.  I think I'll do that and come back with a report.  BBL
