There is a huge tulip festival in a Dutch town about an hour from me. I try to go every year because the tulips are gorgeous. The town is also known for Dutch pastries and food.

the tulip festival, just ended, last week. It's about Dutch heritage, too. they have people wearing wooden shoes and scrub the streets and have  a big parade. culture + tulips.
