Every summer I deck my home out with all of my patriotic decor from Memorial Day through Labor Day. My yellow cottage looks fabuous with red, white and blue accents scattered throughout. Love my summer look!!

American flag displayed daily.

I usually add some smaller flags to the large flower pot by my entrance. Will probably put them out on Saturday as I am expecting a guest to my home and will leave the decor out through next weekend, 7/7.

I don't either... No summer or other holiday decor either, just fall and Christmas...

Nor do I, for any season or holiday. I have some beautifully lush pots of annuals on my deck and that's the extent of my "decorating". Just one less thing that I have find a place to store.

Memorial Day weekend.  It stays up until after Labor Day.  Not much but this is my summer season theme.  Nothing inside stopped doing this years ago.

Of course, my American flag  every day.

@homedecor1  I like the way you think.........I do the same thing!

When we owned our house, we did patriotic decorating for Memorial Day and left if up until a few days after July 4th.

I found a cloth patriotic wreath and put it on the front door around Memorial Day with several flags. Then put other florals out after, and this morning put the red, white & blue back. Closer to the 4th small flags go out.

In August I’ll put a Magnolia wreath on door until September.

  I love changing it!

When do you usually put out 4th of July decor like flags in your front yard or porch? Some neighbors in our area have had bunting and flags and other stuff up for weeks....I was going to put everything out this Thursday, a week before the 4th. Is that too early?

@lovesrecess if the neighborhood is already peppered with July 4 decor then I wouldn't worry about being too early decorating your home.
