3M Check for Stickability on older hooks

before you use the large 3M hooks for holiday decorating, please check the back " stickyness ", especially if they have been around a while.

I went to use one in my undercounted kitchen cabinet and got the worst surprise:  of all the large ones I had, not one would stick to the wood.

In a pinch, you might be able to use a regular sized stick on tab, esp. if the item to hand on it was very light.

Re: 3M Check for Stickability on older hooks

I just found the same issue with a package of Command mini hooks. I've had the package for about a year but never opened it. When I did, there was absolutely no stickiness on the press on adhesive pieces. So disappointing since I love Command products and have used them successfully for years.
