Our claim to fame is the ๐ฅฌ (leafy green) released last year.
Nothing this year except the onion/garlic.
That stick of butter is just gross! ๐ฅด

@sidsmom, for me it has nothing to do with socially acceptable. Women menstruate - it's no secret. However, if women are now going to end their texts, emails, whatever, with a menstruation emoji, I find it reprehensible and sad that this is what we've become as a society. "I'm cranky today! Leave me alone! (insert menstruation emoji)." Really?
And for the record, as a blood donor, with AB-blood, local hospitals have my name & phone number on record if they need me to donate in an emergency - no emoji needed.
I could see the blood drop used like,
โRed Cross Blood Donation Next Thursday! (insert blood drop)โ
Used in print on posters and/or in text notifying people to donate.
Another usage...Halloween....again in print or text.
The emojis are used for a variety of different things.
I donโt think it was written anywhere that โwomen are now going
to end their texts, emails, whatever, with a โmenstruationโ emoji.โ

The โPinching Handโ (upper left hand on OP chart) has more of a
double entendre than anything. People are alreadytweeting about
using that! ๐

OK, this old woman needs to chime in and ask, why in the name of everything holy would a menstruation emoji be necessary?
I know I roll old school. I don't do social media sharing every moment of my life with people I don't know, don't stand in public places talking on my cell about intensely personal things for all around to hear, and certainly don't need to share bodily functions with anyone!
In a very short period of time societal decency and values seemingly have gone down the tubes. It saddens me for future generations how little self respect people show for themselve's, leading towards less respect shown towards others.
Yeah, we've come a long way baby (not). SMH. LuLu
@Its Me LuLuBelle2. Well, I know you will think I'm crazy, but I remember my Grandmother saying the same thing to me minus the social media part when I was about 10 years old. That would have been 1957. My Mom was there and agreed with her. Telephones, and especially tv. They didn't think it would bring about anything good.

Well, all I know, is that there are NOT enough cat emojis.

I totally agree with you 100%. Where are peoples dignity? I don't know which one it is, but would never use it if I did. Frankly too old.I always kind of smile when I see your name, my Mom's was Lula Belle. Thank God for people our age who still know this is so stupid.

Sheesh.......
I can just picture how these emoji's will be used.....
Just think--
Someone can pair the drop of blood with the (briefs) underwear for a "spectacular" statement, and before anyone says that looks like men's underwear....you're not up with the times of the new millennium ...underwear (briefs) are considered genderless....
Or how about the skunk with the underwear...to send a subtle signal.....![]()
.... how about that popular pinch with the underwear to symbolize..well..use you imagination.. ![]()
And for the Halloween fans, you can pair the drop of blood with the axe...to really get in the spirit of Halloween....Or the blood and the razor....blood and the bandaid--a gory good time
Oh that stick of butter.... just won't apply to foodies...
Why think of the possibilities...![]()
