When I got to work, I went online and cancelled with no problem....silly me!!! ( wish I would have gotten it on clearance the first time!!!)

Maybe it's just certain items . . . like the more expensive ones.

I called CS first and she was the one who initially told me "too late." I even politely argued that I had just ordered it 20 minutes ago, and she said it gets into the system very fast, and it's just too late to stop it. I don't know if I believe that or not.

I will be more careful from now on, especially on the high priced items.

No, when that happens, I call CS and they can cancel, that is too short a period of time.

Or maybe because there was more than one item in the order, it took longer to put together????

Are you talking about your order? I only ordered the one item.

Re: 20 minutes later . . . too late to cancel an order

What I used to do is order an item & pay with check - often the next a.m. I will have reconsidered & then cancel it; if I decide I do want it, then change to debit/credit card. Unfortunately, cannot do that w/HSN anymore, they no longer accept checks!

Re: 20 minutes later . . . too late to cancel an order

Ford.... when the package arrives... if it is by post office, just return it to the post office unopened telling them you are refusing the package.... if it is by UPS.... tell the driver you refuse the package or call the company if they drop it on your doorstep and tell them to pick it up.... that you are refusing it..... I have done both.... and you may be charged for postage ONE way.... I cant remember..... but that is the best advice I have. Good luck.

Oh I love his bags brii, I already have three . . . now this one will make four. His prices are very good for the quality. The main negative in the reviews was that the inside pockets are very shallow and even a cell phone will not stay put. Everything else was pretty much raving reviews, and the bag is beautiful. I'll have to see when it gets here how annoyed I might be about the shallow inside pockets.

If I decide to keep it, I will give one of my other IM bags to my daughter. She had admired it the other night. (All one of my girls has to do is admire something and they get it. Even my granddaughters have picked up on that . . . we all laugh about it!)

I only have one D&B bag, the "lock and lock" one that everyone raves about. I have kept that a long time, but rarely use it because it's too heavy.

All of my other bags are all old, from working ten years ago. I will be giving them to Salvation Army with a lot of other stuff. They are still in good condition.

Re: 20 minutes later . . . too late to cancel an order

I think it's wonderful that orders can get processed so quickly!

People who'd been complaining about that can stop.

The lesson here is--no impulse buying.
