I get the Informed Delivery Digest.  I get this 6 days a week.  For the last two day (yesterday & today) I was supposed to have had a total of 9 envelopes (not including junk mail)  Including a refund check from the IRS.  I have had no mail delivered at all.  Too late to check with the post office.  They close at 1:00PM.  I didn't get any mail today. On Wednesday, I received only one envelope.  The digest told me I would have 3 pieces of mail.

Now I know I would not receive all the mail that the Informed Delivery lists, but still .....this is ridiculous.

@songbird   I use Informed Delivery, too, and like it quite a bit.  On the daily Emails, there is an option at the bottom for reporting missing mail, but it comes with this caveat:

"Mail may arrive several days after you receive this notification. Please allow up to a week for delivery before reporting missing mail."

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.

We've only been getting mail 4 or 5 days a week for the past few weeks.

We always get our sale circulars on Wednesday, if that's all we are getting for the day and our regular carrier is off, we get nothing that day.

Today, according to Informed Delivery we are supposed to get something that was too big to scan - no mail truck on the block at all today, so that  means no one got anything.

It is frustrating, I know. But I don't agree it's ridiculous. The post office has been affected in many ways by Covid, and yet they are continuing to do the best they can, and I appreciate it. I have had packages I've been informed are out for delivery still take up to a week to arrive, so very likely yours will come, too.

@songbird Sounds as if you and I have the same carrier.  I know that makes a difference because I see a difference between the accuracy of delivery for my 2 snowbird homes.

I do eventually get what I should, but I've given up bothering to track or be notified during the summer months.

Not sure where you live, but here in Chicago IL we have had lots of issues getting our mail delivery.  Really do not know what will happen, considering the Post Office is in financial trouble.

I signed up for informed delivery a few years ago.  Really nice to see if any bills were coming, and allowed me not to bother to go to mailbox for junk mail,  Loved it until there was a glitch in the system concerning a tracking number that was not for a delivery of mine.  I was constantly getting hundreds of email notices for that tracking information.  Finally the post office just canceled the informed delivery to stop the emails.  Recently was tempted to see if that tracking number had ever been delivered somewhere.  It is still pending after a few years, so I cannot try to sign up again for informed delivery.  Crazy situation.

Hope things work out with Postal issues.  I have signed up for auto pay on some bills, but some I just do not want that option.

Enjoy your informed delivery out there.  I do miss it.

I'm in Texas and I must say that mail delivery has been pretty good...I get all my mail in my mailbox that Informed Delivery shows on each date.  But our Package Center at our Condo Complex has been closed due to Co-Vid. Even if you select to have packages delivered to your door during this time its still at the discretion of the mail carrier...but I must say that he has actually delivered two packages to my door instead of having me pick them up at the post office...So I have no complaints..Woman Very Happy

Whenever my Informed Delivery says I have mail coming that day, I get it. If I don't, I report it. More than likely it was delivered to a neighbor either side of us.

Check the box under each piece of mail you haven't received. I'm confident your regular delivery person was either of vacation or sick leave and some was filling in for him/her. With some tracing, the USPS will find your mail (probably in a neighboring mailbox) and it will be delivered in a day or two.
