[Love my grandkids]

This Sunday, May 16, is what I'm calling my cancer-versary! As of that date I will be 4 years cancer free.

I'm so thankful for the gold star medical care I've gotten: 

From my first colonoscopy and diagnosis (Dr. S. was wonderful), to all the pretty miserable procedures and tests I had pre-op (the medical staff was great though), my wonderful and kind of adorable surgeon (Dr. K) to my more-than-fabulous oncologist, who is so kind and has a good sense of humor (Dr. C) and his wonderful staff.

I get regular blood draws and CT scans so am optimistic about making it to the 5 year "cured" milestone.

I'm grateful for my supportive family and especially to my wonderful loving son, daughter in law and grandkids. They are the best ever!

@Daisy Sunflower Not doing anything special and it is 2 days early but I just wanted to share!

I think on Sunday I may treat myself to a Stouffer's Pepperoni French Bread Pizza. This was a big fave of my son as a teen!
