2/4 is National Quacker Day!

I read that Jeanne Bice founded National Quacker day in 2010. Her line  debut on QVC was on 2/4/95 and her entire collection sold out on that first airing.

It's also National Bubble gum day, Thank a mail carrier day, National homemade soup day  and National wear red day!.

So I'm going to put on my red dress, thank my mail carrier, chew some bubble gum while I make some homemade soup and I might order something from Quacker factory !  Enjoy the Holiday everyone !! Woman LOL

Funny post!   It makes me wonder why QF has no programming on the Q today, you think they would have had one show.  I feel that Angel is hardly ever on anymore and that the line is becoming stale and old news.......too bad as IMO they did the best embroidered holiday tops.  And yes enjoy the day everyone, guess I'll put on a red Quacker shirt while I clean my house today!   I'll skip the bubble gum and getting the mail though as it's raining and sleeting outside today and I have quite a walk to our mailroom.

Jeanne had some fabulous pieces!  I bought many as I use to go out for business and my own social gatherings all the time.  Everywhere I went I would get at least three comments on my clothes.  My Mom loved them and was not yet familiar with QVC.  She told me I will buy you some.  My pieces were basically nautical and holidays.  Still have many of them.  They were made so well.  Button covers!  It was in the late 90's I started with this line.

@LindaSal - QF had a two-hour show on Wednesday and a one-hour show today.  There are upcoming shows on 02/22 and 02/28.

There's also a show every Wednesday on QVC2.  All of the shows have Angel in them (the QVC2 shows often have designer John as well).

All you have to do, if you're really interested, is either sign up for QF's emails (from their own website), sign up for alerts from QVC or search the program guide.

I have tons of the older Quacker Factory clothing that I started buying when she started selling !  Seems l had to have everything .lt was so nice . Haven't bought anything in the last 10 years , l liked the older stuff better .I lost weight so the bigger stuff didn't fit , l had no problem selling them on eBay .

@Venezia I usually check the programming for the main channel daily and haven't seen QF listed very much at all.   I must have missed the most recent one.  I am aware of the Q2 show on Wednesdays, I usually do try to catch that one.  I really enjoy Angel and John but like I said IMO, I just have no interest in some of the newer styles they are coming out with, nothing special.    I really haven't been buying much at all in fashion anymore anyway, I have so much already but I do enjoy watching.  Thanks!

Shoekitty said:  styles change, Quacker maybe a little tired right now with some of their items not being made.    Maybe reorganizing??   I never bought Quacker, but I enjoyed Jean once in a while  such a posative and grateful woman.  Must be hard without Jeanne.  The bedrock of her line was embellishment
