But it'll be a gold mine for promotional trinkets and other tschotchkees (???!???) to commemorate it!!!!

Your "expectation" surprises me .... how many other companies have  previously been commemorated on postage stamps?   I don't recall any other companies, but I honestly don't follow this.   I just buy the occasional commemorative when I like it.

@mollymaggie  Th U.S. Postal Service most likely would need Offical Authouization to use any image or Character likeness Owned by Disney Corp.  That would cost them a pretty penny I'm thinking. They are ALLREADY considering another stamp price increase.

Looks like France and Germany issued stamps for the anniversary.

@MezzieStarr  They could probably be ordered from those countries if one wanted a sheet for a collection.

Disney's stock is on a steep downhill slide, and the CEO is not predicting any better. Not everyone is interested in their stamp.

yeah, it's always nice to cheer, isn't it, for the demise of a company that employs hundreds of thousands of people worldwide and creates probably just as many jobs for their vendors and suppliers and is a multi billion dollar company. Not to mention that it has entertained us for generations. Yeah, let's certainly cheer for that. That would certainly help the economy and not create any stress at all for the people who would be unemployed and worried about supporting their families.
