West Texas had its first 100 degree day today. Dry wind is blowing. This is awfully early. What's it like in your neighborhood?

It's been pouring for two days now.  Temp around 47 and windy.  In other words, miserable with more to come.  East coast.

@RoughDraft Wow! That is weather to the opposite extreme. Stay warm and dry.

Beautiful today, finally.  Sunny, low 60s.  Perfect!

@On It    Wish we could average these out and create a more comfortable planet.

@RoughDraft Yes, indeed! It is frighteningly hot, windy, and dry from here to the West Coast. The desert Southwest is in the grips of an extreme drought.

We were supposed to have made 90° in Albuquerque.  I was out before 7am spraying for weeds before the wind started blowing, as it has done every day for weeks.

Boy, could we use some of that East Coast rain but our cloudless skies show no promise.

@On It    Are you getting any of our smoke?  Winds from the West are blowing it your way.  My friend in Midland said it was 101° there today.  Tomorrow is supposed to be worse.  They're advising people to cancel outdoor activities and stay inside.

There's also a big fire in the Jemez Mountains.  People in my community who live in 2-story houses can see the glow from their upstairs windows.

@On It  We are on the east coast along with @RoughDraft  and have logged over 3 1/2 inches of rain this week, and it's still raining! Things are green and gorgeous, but we can't really go out and enjoy the landscape.
