Re: ⛄️☕️Starbucks Holiday Cups!

I don’t order drink coffee, often, other than what I make at home.  So don’t have any complaints about what I pay, when I do.  Like Starbucks...or local shops.  Dunkins when I’m on the East Coast.

New cups look festive!  May only get to have one once or twice.

I don't drink coffee (or tea), but sometimes I'll stop in for a hot chocolate while I'm at the mall.

not a fan of mcdonalds, burger king, dunkin donuts, or chick fil a coffees. they are all too weak for me. i think starbucks does a great job with making coffee in its simplest form to its most complicated form.

royal farms stores have a good selection of coffees. LOVE when they do their $1 any size.

Re: ⛄️☕️Starbucks Holiday Cups!

 The holly as nothing else is remotely holiday-ish.

I would occasionally get their hot chocolate when I go into Target (which is rare). One day, I went into a Starbucks near me (so many to choose from...gak) and the hot coco was awful. I mean, terrible. I walked up to the counter, told them and asked for a refund. They refused with a very snotty tone. I said, fine keep it. Left the cup, full, on the counter and walked away. As I was leaving, 2 moms and a bunch of kids came in complaining LOUDLY that the hot cocoa was terrible (they had gone through the drive through), demanded a manager, wanted their money back AND free coffee, etc.

I looked back, caught the eye of the person who had said no to me with an attitude, smiled and walked out. That the was the last time I went to Starbucks. I REALLY don't get what is so special about the place...especially since it cost so much $$$$.

@SahmIam

I would have asked to talk to the manager about it -- maybe they were making it wrong or there was a problem with the machine or something.

We've never had a problem with their hot chocolate -- it was nothing special, but it tasted ok.

They used to sell a cup during the holidays that you get free refills in for a month. DH loved it. I hope the one that gets 50 cents off isn't replacing that!

Walmart has a lot of Starbucks cups including some disposable ones that are in for Christmas.

@persiflage

I have never heard of these 3 "original" founders. Howard Schultz obviously took the company to new heights.

@Daisy Sunflower  Honestly, the moment the witch gave up attitude, I knew it wasn't worth my time. Karma hit her, though, when those 2 moms and their kids walked in, lol. Maybe next time she'll act differently when a customer informs her (nicely, btw) that there is something wrong....perhaps by actually showing some interest/concern and asking what the problem is.
