The silver beads do add to the cost. Just bought 2 Navajo pearl necklaces yesterday from an online local sale they're being shipped. I'm finding I havent been able to sell the last few necklaces as I like them so much.

@rockygems123. I have Navajo pearl necklaces in several sizes and find I wear them a lot, with and without pendants. They're very versatile. Our NM governor does the same thing.

Well, it looks like I may never receive my two necklaces which were shipped on 2/18. They were placed into one mailed package, and they have been sitting in limbo with no status updates at all at the same location since 2/20. Meanwhile, I am supposed to be receiving my other AW order, which shipped on 2/23, which went through the exact same mail center, today.
If the prior orders sent out on 2/18 in one package do not magically make it to my door today with the other, more recent, order, I will have to make a phone call to QVC and perhaps even the post office to ask them to look for the package. We shall see. I sure don't want to be billed and have to pay for something that is missing somewhere, that I have not received.

And, no, the average person has no clue how jewelry is made, whether it's mass-produced or artisan.
I find it humorous that people state they won't buy from this line because it's now made in India when probably 80% of the components used in the line came from other parts of the world and was merely assembled in New Mexico. The Rio Grande jewelry supply catalog has the bracelet blanks for the five-stone cuff bracelets and all you have to do is set whatever cabochon gemstone you want in them. And I'll bet those bracelet blanks were made in...India! Does the average person know this? No.
I know this thread is a little older but just now reading your post. Very interesting to me about the cabochon gemstones. Would you happen to know a source for the five stone cuff bracelet itself? It's funny I saw an empty bracelet online awhile back but I have no idea now where that was. Thanks for any info!

I've seen the 5-stone cuff bracelet blank (no gemstones) in the Rio Grande wholesale jewelry supply catalog. Many years ago, Carolyn and her husband's company had several native pearl necklaces in the Rio Grande wholesale catalog.
