is pam jenoff.  i think that you would like all of her books.  she writes historical fiction.  i did not list her books because i feel that people need to look over the title and then decide what appeals to them

Thanks for the heads up!  I will look at her books right now. I felt in a rut, and wanted to get feedback on different authors - and voila!.....I  read your post.
