Where I live we're in for a whopper. Well - it might be a whopper. Predictions have fluctuated from two inches to "historic proportions" for four days now.
I'm going to hunker down with one of Stephen King's new ones, Billy Summers, a Christmas gift.
Stay warm, safe, and keep your power on if you're affected.

14--24" expected here. I just started The Lions of Fifth Avenue. Good thing I have a lot of books waiting in the wings!

Funny I just finished Lions! I enjoyed it but I did like The Address more! Stay warm and happy reading!

i'm one of the very, very lucky ones who lives in eastern Connecticut. Our local weather forecaster is saying 18" and up! Ugh! It seems like will be snowed in for the weekend.

Two feet is predicted here.
As a New Englander, snow is always expected and we've learned to live with it. What has gotten more challenging in the last few decades is the loss of power. Running out to the car to warm up my fur daughter for a bit has worn thin.
I always worry about those who have medical conditions and who live alone. I hope neighbors will check on others to ensure everyone is safe.
Spring can't come fast enough!

Just finished Brad Taylor's End of Days. First book of his I didn't really like. It was too hard to get in to.
I'm doing a fast read - Danielle Steel's Flying Angels. It is good and can be finished in 2 days.
Just picked up 3 books yesterday at the library so next up to start today is either going to be Greenwich Park or Desolation Canyon. The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis has been shipped and will probably be ready to pick up Monday. Looking forward to that one. @bargainsgirl and @judy0330 I also read her The Lions of Fifth Avenue and enjoyed it.

@bargainsgirl I read The Address too and enjoyed it!

@PilatesLover Good choice. I really enjoyed Billy Summers. A little slow in the beginning, but stick with it.
I am going to read A Letter From Nana Rose.

Truly enjoyed Billy Summers.

Same here. I just saw an update that my county is supposed to get the worst of it. Oh well - at least next week it will be in the 40s so it will melt faster than usual.
