WHAT ARE YOU READING? ~~ NOVEMBER, 2017

[ Edited ]

Happy NOVEMBER 2017 to all of our reading friends!

Welcome to all the new members of our group. Here are some of the suggestions that have been requested...

Underline, "bold" or CAPITALIZE the name of the book you're reading - it makes it easier for us readers to see what it is.

Please include the author of the book - first and last name. There are so many books with the same, or similar title (if you are recommending a book, we want to make sure we read the right one)!

If you like, post a few words about the book - would you recommend it or not, and why.

Tell us the book genre - is it fiction, a mystery, romance, historical fiction, biography, memoir, or any other type of book.

Of course, there is no obligation to do any of the above, but it makes life more enjoyable for all of us here.

And please, NO SPOILERS**

If you have any suggestions, please shout it out, as we’re always open to new ideas!

Have a great month, and happy reading to all!

Bought a bunch of Harlan Coben books at the Humane Soc thrift store.   I find the plot twists kinda ludicrous......but I only read for entertainment, not information.  Right now I am almost finished with SIX YEARS.

J. R. Ward. Great 3-book series starts with The Bourbon Kings

This is a big departure for Ward because she has a great series The Black Dagger Brotherhood that is totally different genre.

Well @sunala@Judaline, and @LoriLori, I finished Reliable Wife about a week ago. It wasn't the worst book I've ever read and had some redeeming qualities. Maybe because I was truly prepared for awful! I'd give it three stars.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? ~~ NOVEMBER, 2017

I am reading GRIST MILL ROAD, by Christopher Yates, it is a mystery/thriller and I just started, I am on page 73 and so far, it is pretty good. This is how it is described:

3 Friends are bound together by a terrible crime. from 1982.

Fast Forward to 2008 the three are living their lives, and they meet again with even more devastating results....

It is a little hard getting into, but I hope now it will be smooth reading!

I've started a book I received from Goodreads.

It's All Relative by A. J. Jacobs

description   a hilarious, poignant quest to understand what constitutes family --where it begins and how far it goes--an in so doing understand the Family of Humankind.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU READING? ~~ NOVEMBER, 2017

I am an avid reader and have been reading these posts for several months and decided to join in the fun. My favorite genre is historical fiction but also enjoy occasional non-fiction as well as mystery and general fiction. I am at this time addicted to reading Louise Penny's Inspector Gamache series. I am on #7 and will be disappointed when I have completed the series.  Such wonderful characters and interesting plots.  Time to get back to my story.
