Okay so now we can discuss The Marriage Pact!

I have one question about the ending. Do you think Jake and Alice escaped? I kind of thought they did, and then I began reading comments about the book. Several of the readers thought they got caught. I was just wondering your thoughts were about the book, and the ending. Thanks!

I think they died in the desert.  I am not into things like science fiction - I think that is why I had a hard time with the end of the book (at least I hope that was science fiction!).

@DiAnne- I'm not so sure what it was, science fiction or otherwise, especially since I don't remember what happened immediately before their escape. As I mentioned, I read this November 5, 2017, and already most of it is out of my head. Would you mind refreshing my memory? I know it seemed crazy, but then again the whole book was "out there."

I don't think they did, because isn't the first part of the book told from after the fact?

@jackthebear- I think you're right. They did tell the story from after the fact. How else could they have told the whole story if they weren't alive to tell it? LOL

You are both more observant than I am!  I just read it and did not notice that!

TBH  there were some parts toward the end I didn't like  but overall I thought it a really good book when I read it, 

there is very little new fiction I like or can even stand to read more than 1 page. so this one was a pleasant surprise to me 

do any of you think it will be made into a movie?

@jackthebear- so many book reviews state "soon to be a motion picture with Reese Witherspoon directing," but they never seem to come to pass. They probably have good intentions but they fall through the cracks. I thought it was a good story but I thought the couple (can't remember their names) were kind of obnoxious. Again, I don't remember that much about it.
