THOMAS WOLFE born October 3, 1900 was an American author. His first novel, "Look Homeward Angel" was a notable event.
Huge in person ( 6'7") and in talent, his death at the age of 38 was indeed a greyt loss.
Today I celebrate his contribution to American literature.

I love Thomas Wolfe. I had planned on going to Asheville this year to visit the Thomas Wolfe Museum. However, expensive dental bills and car repairs have caused me to postpone this meaningful trip to next year.
I have taught four classes on his major books.

So glad to see that his work is not forgotten, thanks to you and all teachers who also appreciate him. When I've mentioned him to friends or others, they rarely know who I am talking about.
Hopefully you will get to visit the museum, and when you do, I hope you will write back and tell us about what you have seen.
