@Shanus- Hi, I'm coming back slowly, whenever I can. In the meantime, it's great to see you. How are the Bat Mitzvah plans coming along? Happy reading xox

Dear @sunala . The Bat Mitzvah plans are coming along and will be on schedule for the first weekend of Dec. Covid/masks/proof of vax required to enter Temple and limited seating, so list cut back to accommodate only family and GD's friends. No food inside which threw a wrench in plans for ONEG or anything after Sat. morning...had to move a light lunch to the hotel. At night, tent w/ heaters at DS's house. I'm doing brunch at hotel. So exciting...can't wait!! DH and I are only grandparents and are participating in services. Thanks so much for asking. Be well.

@Shanus - how exciting. It must be this coming weekend! Soon your granddaughters are going to make you those yummy matzoh balls and you can sit and enjoy them. Mazel Tov to you and your family and especially the sweet Bat Mitzvah girl!

Hugs, Sunny

Thank yo so much @sunala . We all miss you terribly. Yes, we leave on Fri. morning for the services and festivities of the weekend. DH and I (the only grandparents left) will pass the Torah to my son who will then pass it on to my grandaughter. Kleexex not optional. She is named after my younger brother who passed away suddendly 20 yrs. ago and was my son's godfather. So, some very sad, but meaningful parts of the service.
