I get emails daily about deals on kindle books. When I read the descriptions, I get excited and I go to Amazon to order the ebook. I'm not exaggerating, 9 times out of ten Amazon says I own the book. I guess that I'm boring because the same books pique my interest. I like what I like and I'm envious of those readers experiencing these books for the first time. Oh well, there are thousands of books but it would be nice to be surprised by one of the bargains. If you too like a good, well written ,story( no mysteries or true crime please ) Give me a rec. TIA

@QVCkitty1  Check out the thread in Book Club for Favorite Books of 2024.

I just finished one called The Fortunate Ones, Ed Tarkington, storyline is in the monthly Book Club thread.  Not true crime.  I rated it 4/5.

Like you, I realized that I dug my rut as deep as I could.  In desperation I expanded my searches in ways I had never considered.  Sure there were duds, but overall lots of interesting reads.

Please check existing threads here for wonderful different reads and just browse around.

My Libby tags are down to 78, so I have been having fun.
