QUEEN BEE

Dorothea Benton Frank wrote QUEEN BEE and what a delightful read.  To me is was a little slow in the beginning, but later on it was really hard to put down. I would give it five stars.

@squeaks   THANKS!  I just checked it out yesterday!  I love so many of he books!  Some are sort of duds but some are wonderful!

 

Have you read Pat Conroy's Beach Music?  I love Southern family novels I guess.  I loved "Plantation" from Dorothea Benton Frank too and both of those books are on my favorites list!    

 

I can't wait to start Queen Bee!

I love DBF, and mourn her loss to cancer. How tragic it is that her voice has been silenced.

I love Dorothea Benton Frank. Have read all of her books. Wasn't aware she passed away. I always looked forward to Spring when her books came out.
