And I have to agree with the others about "The Kind Worth Killing". It's the one that got me started with this genre and I don't think any have topped it since.

I recently read Lies We Bury by Elle Mar and loved it.

I just finished an older title of Tami Hoag's titled Deeper Than the Dead.  It's a good one: lots of suspense, several possible bad guys, lots of red herrings.  There are some tragic family dynamics going on in three families-all too realistic, I'm sad to say.  It's a good read though.

Well, Alex  was interviewed on GMA today and his second book The Maiden is coming out this week ......  AND they said The Silent Patient is being made into a movie.
