Under Her Skin by Adriana Anders

This gentle giant's scarred hands may be the warmest touch she'll ever know.
...if only life were a fairy tale where Beauty got to keep her Beast

A darkly possessive relationship has left Uma alone and on the run. Beneath her drab clothing, she hides a terrible secret—proof of her abuse, tattooed on her skin in a lurid reminder of everything she's survived. Caught between a brutal past and an uncertain future, Uma's relucant to bare herself to anyone, much less a rough ex-con whose rage drives him in ways she'll never understand.

Ivan thought the world was through giving him second chances. Until Uma came into his life. Until she changed everything. Until he realized he would do anything, fight anyone, and tear the world apart if it only meant saving her.

This dark romance is an emotional tale of survival and contains strong themes of past domestic/sexual abuse.

We do it together @Stargazer77, with help from others once in a while! If I'm on the forums and I see you haven't had time to post yet, I will. It's a lot easier now that we can just find it on Nook Facebook and we don't have to go through 10 steps to find it! Remember that? LOL!

You enjoy your weekend too!  Smiley Happy

Go On, Girl by Hilary Grossman

Big Little Lies meets Class Mom!

Executive, wife, and mother of an outgoing first-grader, Sydney Clayton crushes her day-to-day obligations at work but flounders in the cutthroat world of parental politics.

She manages to avoid the local drama until she's faced with an ultimatum: join the Forest River PTA or risk her daughter becoming a social outcast. Sydney reluctantly becomes treasurer, and takes the recently vacated position of the president's sidekick. If protecting the children's freedom of speech, one best friend ban at a time, isn't complicated enough, Sydney and her husband receive an unexpected offer for their house they don't think they can refuse.

Embroiled in the deception and manipulation rife among the elementary school moms, Sydney struggles. Should she sell the home she worked so hard to build in a town where betrayal runs rampant? Or should she stay put to avoid the fallout from uprooting her child? As Sydney focuses on what is best for her daughter, and lets go of her judgments, she finds friendship can develop in very unexpected ways.

Warm, witty, and wise, Go On, Girl dramatizes the dilemmas of life in the suburbs and the bonds shared by women.

A warrior with nothing left to lose. A prince trying to hold his kingdom together.

As a child, Etta ran from the palace for her life. Now, she must find a way back in.

The kingdom of Gaule is a dangerous place for those with magic. To be found is a death sentence, forcing magic wielders into the forests to hide from the crown.

An innocent young telegraph operator becomes a counterfeiter’s target
Once, the Lamartine Hotel was a quiet refuge for New York’s stuffy fashionable set. But by the 1890s, fashion has moved uptown, and the lobby of the Lamartine has been overtaken by natty young sports, who pass their afternoons with billiards or shows of noisy derring-do. Their preferred damsel is Lila Williams, a delicate young telegraph operator whose shyness so charms them that they resolve to defend her against any ill-behaved characters. They are about to face their fiercest challenger, who rides in the gleaming armor of a millionaire. His name is John Knowlton, and from the first telegram she writes for him, Lila is charmed. He has money, good looks, and a criminal secret, and his insidious charisma will demand heroic effort from the knights of the Lamartine billiard table in this novel by Mystery Writers of America Grand Master Rex Stout.
