@ChynnaBlue Thank you for posting the list.   As soon as I saw the name BLAKE CROUCH I immediately thought of Wayward Pines.  Those were some of my all-time favorite books, which I read about a year ago.

I am looking forward to reading anything he writes.

Can you advise me, please.  How and what do I have to do to get library books from my local library on  my Kindle?

Most likely your library uses an application called Overdrive.  Check your library's website to see if there are instructions on downloading.

@Big Sister if you can't find your library's website online, call the library and ask for the department (or person) in charge of e-books. I'm sure they will help you get started. Good luck!

My library allows you to take out up to 7 books for 2 weeks, and up to 5 holds at a time. PLUS, I use my husband's library account as well, which gives me 14 books at a time. That's a lotta books! PLUS, if you're in the middle of a book, as long as you don't put on your Kindle's wi-fi, even though the library removed it, you will still have it on your Kindle as long as you don't refresh the wi-fi.

Good luck!

@sunala, I can be dense sometimes:/  Do you mean you don't go on the internet at all if you are late finishing up a book?  Sometimes I just barely manage to finish before the library takes back the book.

@tansy Yes that's exactly what I mean. Just don't put on the wifi on your Kindle, as you would to refresh your books, because once you put on the wifi, it will update all your information and the library will remove any books that they took away from you. If you leave it alone, you can keep those books on your Kindle as long as you like. Good deal, huh?

Re: Library Reads List for July

@sunala, nice to "hear from you."   Thanks so much for the info on my getting library books on Kindle.  I will go online first for my local library and if that's not possible, I will go to the library personally.  Thank you.
