James Patterson is not an author I read often but I have this one on reserve.

 

Viola Davis  partnered with him.

The first time I was aware of Viola Davis was back in 2002 when she appeared on Law and Order Criminal Intent  (Season 1 Episode 20). I think the episode was entitled "Badge". She plays a mother determined to give her daughters a better life. Powerful performance. Does anyone else remember her on that show?

I definitely plan to read it! Right now I am reading The House of Cross, almost finished and it  is really good. I like a lot of James Patterson books, they are usually quick reads and he has nice, short chapters which I love.

 

I am a huge fan of them both!
