Has anyone created a simple to use spreadsheet for their books and series...Chronological Order, Have Read, TBR, etc that you’d like to share?
I used to use Shelfari and could keep it private or public, but when Goodreads took over, there are no privacy settings. Not that I kind people seeing what I’m reading, but at times, people have jumped the gun and messaged me about endings, characters, etc before I’m through and it ruins it for me.
Thanks!

Wow. I've been on Goodreads since 2010 and have never had anyone spoil a book for me. I'm sorry anyone did that to you - that's awful.
There are some privacy settings. You can see them here: https://www.goodreads.com/user/edit
You can set your profile to only be seen by just my friends, then make sure you deselect the options to allow non-friends to follow or comment on your reviews and make sure only just my friends is selected for who is allowed to send you private messages. Then make sure you unfriend anyone who is thoughtless enough to message you about a book's ending before you finish the book, because they're the problem, not Goodreads. ![]()
I don't keep a separate system myself, but if you already have your books in Goodreads, you can Export the file to a spreadsheet in .csv file format, which would give you a headstart if you wanted to maintain a file in your own spreadsheet software. I've done this with friends in a book club so that we could see which books we had all read before and which books we had in common on our To Be Read lists.

I miss Shelfari's format but have gotten used to Goodreads since I've been on there since 2016.
I do keep a spreadsheet on Excel; don't know why since I have Goodreads but it's a habit I guess.
I don't read reviews on Goodreads or Amazon or any of the book websites before I read books since I don't want spoilers.

you can easily do a spreadsheet, but I think what would be the easiest for you is to go to settings and have "no messages" sent to you.
I use Goodreads just to keep track of want to read and have read.
the reviews are so juvenile there just like a grade school book report

I keep track of my 'have reads' in my notes on my imac. That way I can check them on my phone or ipad. I don't keep track of TBRs. I just load up about 50 books on my ereaders and pick them first.

Thank you all so much!

I would suggest that you keep a reading notebook/journal instead of a fancy spreadsheet. Just somewhere to keep a list of the books you have, when you finish them, how you liked them, etc. If you need ideas there are some reading journal flip throughs on youtube.
