I loved it.  It was very believable - he had so many named sources. It certainly put Meghan in a different light.

Apparently this is not the first book Bower has written where those interviewed said he wrote things they never said, or seriously mischaracterized what they said.

Unfortunately, most people don't want to spend large sums of  money to sue him, but several interviewees have been very vocal about his lies.

I thought this was an interesting comment regarding Revenge.

This book is meticulously researched. This author has written other books about royals and celebs, and he has never lost a libel lawsuit.  There are extensive citations and notes at the end of the book.

Of course, if you are a Meghan fan, you will dismiss this book as character assassination.

This book gives extensive evidence of what most of us are thinking, realizing that the rabbit hole is even larger than we thought.

Re: Has Anyone Read The Book Revenge By: Tom Bower

By reviews I'm reading, I don't think we need enlightenment by a gossipy journalist. I'll wait for the paperback. Seems there's not much new information. And a lot of he said, she said, which isn't reliable sourcing.

Haven't we seen enough, of their behaviors to draw our own conclusions? Those pro H&M will be angry, those con will feel their perceived opinion is validated.

That said, it should be clear to everyone, like them, or not, that this couple is a mess and both have serious baggage and issues. They're accumulating wealth, but true contentment may escape them. Sadly, particularly Harry.

I'm more interested in seeing what they do going forward and how it affects the RF. They've created a lot of unnecessary drama. Or, I should say, ME-ghan certainly has facilitated such.

I read it and thought it was very interesting.  They are certainly a complex couple.  I thought it was sad how she treated her father, who did everything for her.

Yes, Bower has had other books that "never lost a libel lawsuit" but the fact that he has had several lawsuits should be your first clue.

One thing that's interesting is that this book is published by a small family-owned publishing house in Sweden ... not a larger, better-known publishing house of quality.

I guess the bigger publishers just didn't want to have to deal with his libel lawsits anymore, and I doubt Bower was going to self-publish.  He'd be laughed out of the publishing world forever.

So, what was he to do?  Find a small publisher who would take him ... in Sweden.

Tom Bower is on tv right now talking about his book. He seems to have a true grasp of the entire situation...but clearly doesn't like Meghan, and isn't a big fan of Harry, either. He also mentioned Harry's book, Spare. I didn't know it had been translated into 16  different languages and is becoming a "sensation" .
Bower is predicting Meghan will dump Harry eventually; I hope if there is any " dumping" to be done, Harry is the one who does it.

I've got it on reserve at library and also 'Spare' due out in Jan. Can't believe he is going over to England to promote that book. He's trashing his family and going to England to boot.

What they won't do for a $. Hope the King takes his title he doesn't deserve it.
