Re: Has Anyone Chosen Their Amazon First Kindle Reads Selection Yet?

I don't think I've ever read one of the Kindle First books. They're not usually books I'd be interested in, but this month may be different. We'll see.

I skipped last month because none of the books appealed to me, but this month I chose Matchmaking for Beginners.  The reviews were so enthusiastic that they made me want to give it a try.

Well it's the first of the month, and the six selections for a free book are out. I chose Matchmaking for Beginners by Maddie Dawson. It seems to be filled with quirky characters which I seem to love reading about. Some of my favorite books this year have been about these off-center characters who are so interesting and entertaining.

What did you choose for May?

I saw a blog post on the Matchmaking book, I might pick it

usually the books are so not my thing that I pass on them

I always get one by the end of the month. It's a good way to find new authors.   I've read quite a few and some have been pretty good.   I have so many kindle books I don't really need to find more authors, but I'm obsessed.  LOL
