If you grew up in the 1960s and you loved the music and all that came with that time period, I purchased this book when it was published in 2011.  I really was not a real big fan of Frank Zappa, but knew of him.  Anyway, Frank hired this woman to be his secretary. She was not into the "hippie scene," just a working gal.  She took the job and wrote about it.  It's a light read (get it at library if you can or buy used copy) but fun behind the scenes at his house, the 1960s rock scene in general, and how she maneuvered her way through all of it.  Not high brow.  Just a fun, funny memoir book.

@slmsia Thanks - I tagged it so if my library gets it, I'll get a notification. Appears to be the original book and now an updated version.
