Re: Favorite “beach reads”?

Those reads will probably be the closest I get to a beach this year.  Thanks for the great list, @joannecha

I used to read a lot of Dorothea Benton Frank.  It seems it's time to catch up with her work again.

Jacquelynn Kresman - one of my favorite artists - specializes in beach scenes

Re: Favorite “beach reads”?

I usually stay away from "beach reads," but I read two recently that I loved.

Montauk by Nicola Harrison

Cape May by Chip Cheek.

Both take place in an oceanfront resort and they were both great! I read both of them so fast and recommend them to those of you who enjoy a typical summer. Both of them took place in the past, which added to the enjoyment.

Highly recommend!!
