@catter70 I found Brave New World absolutely brilliant and compelling reading.  I had always heard about that book and some "figures" quoted from and mentioned that book, so I decided I was due to read it about two summers ago, and I did read it.  

 

It was such a wow of a book.  I liked it much better than Fahrenheit 451, because I thought it was amazing from the first to the very last page, whereas I felt a bit of a letdown by the ending of Fahrenheit 451--

-- a bunch of grungy men on the outskirts, secretly reciting line by line, from memory, the important books they had read. Like how many pages could they have possibly committed to memory?
