Re: FAMILIAR WITH HARLAN COBEN?

I have read several of Harlan Coben's books.  I have especially enjoyed the way he writes his endings.  Most of the time there are some twists and turns at the end of the story that I just did not see coming.  Every once-in-a-while though, one of his books disappoints me.  Sometimes the writing is not up-to-par.  I honestly believe that when an author gets popular, he gets an agent and a contract with a book company and he(or she) is under pressure to meet a deadline and produce a book, even if his heart is not in it at the time.

Harlan Coben is one of my favorites. Read his Myron Bolitar series in order. They are well plotted and the dialogue is sharp witted. Myron and Win are favorites! Enjoy the series. He has stand alone but the Bolitar series is my favorite.

@sassenach1. That is also my favorite series.

How funny .....    I looked up what he's written and thought that series was written for young adults, not grown ups.   Hmm.   I must have misunderstood.

Re: FAMILIAR WITH HARLAN COBEN?

I'm quite familiar with him. I've read at least 15 of his books & I'm reading one of his books right now. (The first book of the Myron Bolitar series) If you like mysteries I think you'll love him.
