That's funny how so many of us do our reading of the night. My 2 sisters and I all read of the night. We're all widows now and it's a nightime ritual before going to sleep.

Yep, the guy in the book is nothing to brag about, but, something tells me she'll come out ahead. ROFL

Something that is funny. My financial man told me women my age all say they will not marry again because at my age and that of my sisters all the men are looking for "is a nurse and a purse".

Cracked me up.  True, though.

@SharkE  my mom's favorite saying was " when you get to my age they are either looking for a nurse or a purse"....she was 90 when I first heard her say this.  She passed away a couple years ago at 94...

Anyway, I have 80 pages to go...very quick read.  There's a twist that I am not sure you have gotten to yet

She's sniffing out the competition.  I think women tend to blame other women . What they should do is blame

their own husband. In my case if my husband had wanted to cross over I'd had said "go to it I don't want anybody around that doesn't want me". Course, I don't have children.

Men, aren't helpless children. If you think about it women only go after wealthy men. If you got a husband who isn't filthy rich and not drop dead gorgeous you have nothing to worry about from him or a gold digger. LOL
