Opinions please without spoilers. Has anyone read Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano? I was already crying by page 20. Is it worth reading the rest? The plot sounds interesting though, though I'm sure the whole book focuses on him and his life.

It's a wonderful, touching read. Read it several years ago and loved it! Keep reading; you won't regret it. IIRC the reviews over the years have consistently been very high. It's THAT GOOD!

@SWEET - Please don't give up on the book!  Yes, it centers around a tragedy, but is so well-written that you begin to focus on the story and character development instead.  Plus, the ending is just excellent!!!  It was my favorite book of the year when it came out.  You will miss out on a gem of a book if you don't continue reading it!!!!

I just finished it and it was an incredibly, sad read yes but worth it! 5 stars for me and I am very stingy with those on Goodreads.
