Re: Bill O'Reilly

[ Edited ]

my younger Grand has worked for Uber Eats Not door dash.  The money isn't too bad for a kid in college , spare time.  .... if you hussle ..She has learned how cheap and cunning some adults can be though. They offer a really nice  tip, she hassles to get it out, the person accepts it happy.... then after delivery they go in and take them back all tip. . Lots do this.  after a customer does this a couple times though, they do get banned. Also, if you have a bad customer,( she hadn't except this one guy) you can also go into app and take them off all future deliveries by you.  You get paid per visit, plus all of tips. It is good for her in between college

'Killing Lincoln' book is really good. It's hard to believe

that there was a time when people roamed thru the White House grounds and even the house willy nilly.

Such a gentler time. Book describes what led up to the events that led to the murder.

I'm enjoying the book.

I wouldn't rely on Bill for historical accuracy.

Bill is a smart man and knows is weakness' which is why he as historians and others write the books with him.  Not ghost writers but it is widely known who they are.

Key Collaborators and Series:
  • Martin Dugard: The main co-author for the "Killing" series (Killing Lincoln, Kennedy, Jesus, Patton, Reagan, Rising Sun, England, SS, Crazy Horse, Mob, Legends, Witches).
  • David Fisher: Co-authored Bill O'Reilly's Legends & Lies: The Real West, The Patriots, and The Civil War.
  • Josh Hammer: Co-authored Confronting Evil and Confronting America.

All the books are excellent.  @SharkE if you want to read great historical books about President's wives along with other historical women please look at Jennifer Chiaverini.  Her next book is due out soon.

  • Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker (2013)
  • The Spymistress (2013)
  • Mrs. Lincoln's Rival (2014)
  • Mrs. Grant and Madame Jule (2015)
  • Christmas Bells (2015)
  • Fates and Traitors (2016)
  • Enchantress of Numbers (2017)
  • Resistance Women (2019)

I would never read anything Bill wrote no matter who helped him.

I choose where my money goes and it's not to profit someone like him.

I adore him, but you have your choice what to read and whom to give your money.  We all do.

@beckyb1012   Well Put !   I adore him as well .

@shoekitty thank you!!  my entire posts have been deleted, but i do appreciate your comment, along with lakelife & tansy.

its one thing to agree with political view but to agree b/c it coming from a certain side is just living in a silo.

i hope they would have been ok if this & everything else from last year on, was coming from the other side.  somehow, i don't think so.

if u can truly say, yup all good since jan 2025, "oh, who is in the WH??", than i applaud you for being apolitical.

Don't waste your time reading Killing Kennedy unless you believe Oswald killed him.

Exactly what is silly about @SharkE's questions if he also wrote books about any of the President's wives?
