Did you Google his name?  Or, books by Bill O'Reilly?  You might find what you're looking for.

Years ago a former WH Butler (?) wrote a book about the WH that was very good.  I want to say his name was J.B. West.  Don't ask me where I got that name, I do remember in the book, it talked about Mrs. Kennedy saying, "Mr. West....."  So that may be his name.

I wouldn't rely on Bill for historical accuracy.

@CalminHeart  I couldn't agree with you more!  It's kind of scary that anyone would take what he writes as the truth. Yikes.

Bill is a smart man and knows is weakness' which is why he as historians and others write the books with him.  Not ghost writers but it is widely known who they are.

Key Collaborators and Series:
  • Martin Dugard: The main co-author for the "Killing" series (Killing Lincoln, Kennedy, Jesus, Patton, Reagan, Rising Sun, England, SS, Crazy Horse, Mob, Legends, Witches).
  • David Fisher: Co-authored Bill O'Reilly's Legends & Lies: The Real West, The Patriots, and The Civil War.
  • Josh Hammer: Co-authored Confronting Evil and Confronting America.

All the books are excellent.  @SharkE if you want to read great historical books about President's wives along with other historical women please look at Jennifer Chiaverini.  Her next book is due out soon.

  • Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker (2013)
  • The Spymistress (2013)
  • Mrs. Lincoln's Rival (2014)
  • Mrs. Grant and Madame Jule (2015)

Just got his book Confronting the Presidents, haven't cracked it open yet. I usually check out his podcasts most days.

A really good read is "In the President's Secret Service" by Ronald Kessler, it's old but I found it to be great entertainment.

@beckyb1012   I have listened to ALL his "killing" books and was very impressed with his historical accuracy for exactly the reasons you mention.  Enjoyed every one and learned a lot!

The lesser known names may do the work, but, his name puts it over.   As long as it gets me to read

interesting subjects and keeps my interest.......

I would never read anything Bill wrote no matter who helped him.

I adore him, but you have your choice what to read and whom to give your money.  We all do.
